For some time now, Vetsend has been selling the popular Equi Parex, a natural anthelmintic for horses, which is available without a prescription. This product is now also available for dogs under the name Doggy Parex! Doggy Parex is a completely natural formula, which will support your dog’s intestinal health.

Composition:
Doggy Parex contains the following herbs: Garlic (Allium sativum), mint (Mentha piperita), aniseed, red elm (Ulmus fulva), thyme (Thymus vulgaris), cleavers (Galium aparine), cayenne (Capsicum minimum), cinnamon (Cinnamomum zelandicum), nettle (Urtica).
Doggy Parex cleanses your dog’s body for a period of 12 weeks, due to the unique composition of the individual herbs. It cleans the intestines in a completely natural way, strengthens intestinal flora and increases resistance. You can administer Doggy Parex in 2 ways:
- As a snack or reward
- In liquid form
Dosage for snacks:
- Doggy Parex Snack – Small (90g): 2 snacks (rewards) a day for dogs between 1 and 10kg
- Doggy Parex Snack – Medium (180g): 4 snacks (rewards) a day for dogs between 10 and 25kg
- Doggy Parex Snack – Large (270g): 6 snacks (rewards) a day for dogs between 25 and 50kg
Dosage for liquid:
- Using the correct three day course for your dog’s weight, administer one bottle over three days, mixed with the food. Repeat every 12 weeks.
- If you have several dogs, a 250 ml or 500ml value pack is recommended. The doses are as follows: Small (1-10kg) 5ml per day for 3 days. Medium (10-25kg) 10 ml per day for 3 days. Large (25-50kg) 15ml per day for 3 days. Repeat every 12 weeks.
Please note: If you have a puppy or a dog with a suspected active worm infection, we do not recommend the use of Doggy Parex. This product cannot be compared to a regular worming treatment. If you do wish to use Parex as a replacement for a regular wormer, please have your veterinarian carry out regular faecal examinations.
