Ruffwear Approach Pack

Your dog can bring its own luggage in the Ruffwear Approach Pack when you go hiking or trailing (for a longer period). The backpack has two side bags and an integrated harness which has five points of adjustment for a perfect fit. The harness also ensures pack stability during movement. The Approach Pack has two leash attachment points: one aluminium V-ring and a loop at the back of backpack. The handle on top of the backpack allows you to help or lift your dog over an obstacle. The reflective rims on the sides of the Approach Pack ensure low-light visibility.

On warm days the Approach Pack can be combined with the Ruffwear Core Cooler.

Please note: In case the chest size of your dog falls between two sizes, opt for the smaller size.

It is recommended that your dog carry no more than 25% of its own body weight. If your dog is new to dog packs, try it first without or with a light load. After a while you can increase the load.

Washing instructions

The Ruffwear Approach Pack can be hand-washed with a mild detergent. Do not machine-dry the pack.

What to do if the Ruffwear Approach Pack does not meet your expectations?

For hygiene reasons, the Ruffwear Approach Pack cannot be returned if it has come into contact with your pet. If we find that the returned item is stained, worn, contains animal hair, smells or has been washed after use, we cannot accept it as a returned item. In this event, it will be donated to a charity (local shelter). As we are often confronted with products that are returned in a less than new condition, we have to apply these rules for fitting and/or returning products.
